Fire Fire! and Work Tomorrow

Well this night didn't go quite as I expected or hoped. Tomorrow is the dreaded day. My maternity leave has come to a screeching halt and it is time for me to go back to work. I'm sad. I love being home with my girls. So tonight I had planned on making a bunch of meals for the week, hanging out with my family, and watching the Carolina game. Unfortunately our heater is broken and it has been cold here this week. So we decided it would be nice to have a fire. Jason started a fire in the fireplace and quickly realized that the flew was shut and smoke filled our first level. Shortly after all the smoke alarms in our house started going off and Ellie justifiably freaked out. It was craziness...the only way to open the flew is inside the fireplace and we had taken all the tools outside since they are far from 2 year old safe. So I grabbed the girls and ran upstairs so that they weren't in the smoke and Jason got it open and then opened all the windows and doors. So what started as a cold house got much colder. Needless to say we ended up going out for pizza, coming back home and now I'm crashing. Yuck. I don't even want to think about tomorrow morning.
