Ruby Kate is 4 months old! She is a precious girl- full of smiles! At her 4 month check up she was 13 lb 8 oz (50%) and 24 1/4 inches (50%), she is still a little top heavy- her head was 42 cm (75%)! She got a couple of shots this morning but she did really well with them. She cried for just a second and then was okay, happy to be picked up and loved of course.
Ruby is so curious about everything that is going on around her. She smiles all the time and loves to be talked to. She even has given us a couple little giggles. I think she probably thinks we are crazy trying to get her to laugh! We just can't get enough kissing her little neck and raspberries on her belly. Those are the two things that she has laughed for so of course we try over and over again. Pretty humorous.
Ruby is doing really well with me back to work. My mom takes great care of her and they are best buds already. She loves to be cuddled up in her arms during the day! She has finally adjusted to the Nuk bottles that are just like her pacifier and is already drinking more than Ellie ever did during the day. She sleeps really well, pretty much only waking up one time during the night, eating and going back to sleep. We are spoiled!
Ellie is still super in love with her little "Ruby Cakes" or "Ruby Katy." She really is a wonderful big sister and is very helpful.
