Today was "Family Day" at work so I jumped on the opportunity to spend work time with my baby girl! Plus this is the first year I have had a "family" to bring so attendance was mandatory! They had baby pools, inflatable jump thingies, and even a mechanical bull. Craziness. There weren't many kids and it was very hot but we had fun anyway. My mom brought Ellie and we had lunch together and then Ellie hit the pool. She seemed to like it but it was a little awkward because there was a little boy splashing her (she didn't mind but it made me a little nervous) and it was a little difficult for me to hold her in a position that she could actually enjoy the water. She had fun anyway and I'm sure it felt good in the heat. Jason was able to stop by for lunch and to see Ellie's first baby pool action. Fun times! Only a few more weeks til her swim classes start...
After the soak in the pool we played Bingo for a little while. We didn't win but Ellie was very interested in getting the Bingo cards in her mouth. Lets not even talk about the enticing little markers!
